What Are Adverse Events and Product Complaints?

Adverse Event

Any unintended or unfavorable medical occurrence in a patient who has been given a pharmaceutical product, which may or may not be caused by the product. Adverse events can be any unwanted signs, symptoms, or diseases, often referred to as side effects.

Product Complaint

Any dissatisfaction with the identity, strength, quality, or purity of a pharmaceutical product or medical device, including suspected counterfeit or falsified products.

When submitting an adverse event or product complaint, please provide as much detail as possible, even if some information is incomplete. The following information will help us investigate the issue thoroughly:

Details of the person who experienced the adverse event (e.g., initials, date of birth, gender).
