Glenise Durrant is a CEO experienced in Strategy, Financial Analysis, Planning & Reporting, Accounting, General Management, Leadership, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, & Pharmaceutical. She has over twenty-five (25) years of experience and has held key roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Head of Strategy, Chief Supply Chain Officer, General Manager, and Business Control Manager. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting with distinction and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.

She is currently employed at Aventa Jamaica Limited as Chief Executive Officer leading the company’s operations and executing and developing the company strategy to support business growth. She also has extensive experience in the Manufacturing industry, where she led new business acquisitions, directed long and short-term strategic initiatives, development of strategic plans and financials, implemented process improvements across functions and has led profitability turnaround through cost and revenue management initiatives.

Prior to joining Aventa Jamaica, she worked with the GraceKennedy Group in the capacity of Head of Strategy and Chief Supply Chain Officer. She also worked with the Seprod Group of Companies, where she held the position of Group Strategy & Planning Manager and General Manager at Serge Dairies. She has also held various managerial roles at Red Stripe and Jamaica Flour Mills. During her tenure at Red Stripe, Glenise covered all areas of finance including: Strategy, Financial Analysis & Planning, Commercial Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, and General Ledger accounting. Her exemplary performance earned her several awards for Leadership, Brand Value Creation, contribution to process improvement and involvement in special projects.

Glenise is also a mother of two children Nkaechi and Jabari.
